30-Day Blog Challenge - Day 1

As a newbie in the blogging world, I'm not really used to regularly coming up with ideas about what to post on my blog. And as a student, I don't really have the time or resources to post about what I want to post. So, for inspiration, I went on some of my favorite blogs that I follow and looked at what they posted when they were just starting out. I found this 30 Day Blog Challenge on Kate's blog Scathingly Brilliant (which, by the way, is very appropriately named)! So, in order to start some regular posting, I'm going to shamelessly steal her idea.

Day 30 — Whatever tickles your fancy

OH, wow, for the first challenge, this one is pretty hard! I think I'll just go with my favorite song at this moment because, really, it changes almost daily.

My favorite song (for today) is Prima Donna from The Phantom of the Opera.

I've been doing theatre for seven years, and throughout all that time, The Phantom of the Opera has consistently remained my favorite show. It was the show that started it all for me, the show that made me want to do theatre. Being a theatre nut, half of the songs on my iPod are from musicals and I just downloaded the soundtrack for the Phantom of the Opera 25th Anniversary Concert from 2010 sooooo that's pretty much all that I've been listening to!
